My "baby" girl turned 3 yesterday and we'll be having her party soon.... (as in Saturday)....I have been behind the times in getting stuff done on a timely basis and of course prepping for this party was no different..... so I panicked about invitations (though I had verbally invited our friends already) ......
So I requested some help from my fellow Stampin sisters recently to get ideas for some Dora inspired birthday invitations. Someone sent me a link to a similar card on the internet (though the creator says that she printed all the parts off the computer then adhered to card) but I completely hand created this one!
I used punches and the now retired Coluzzle Cutting system.
I cut the largest circle for the flap of the backpack, I used retired Orchid Opulence colored grosgrain for the backpack straps, the Heart Punch (partial) for the mouth, Oval and 3/4" Circle for the eyes, and the smaller photo corner from the Photo Corner punch cut in half for the eyebrows.
I hope you like it as much as I do...b/c I'm positively GIDDY about the turnout! And I made 18 of them in just about 1 hour and 45 minutes TOTAL (start to finish including addressing envelopes and putting them in the mailbox and everything!!
